Once treatment begins, Biote® hormone pellets are placed just beneath the skin to provide a steady release of hormones over several months. Follow-up laboratory testing is typically performed approximately 4 weeks after your initial pellet insertion and then annually thereafter, allowing your provider to monitor hormone levels, review your progress, and ensure your treatment continues to meet your individual needs.
